Reducing Infant Mortality

Last night I attended a local chapter meeting for Amnesty International on the UT campus and the topic was Human Healthcare is human right and the maternal health care crisis in the USA. It is ironic that on the same day in the New York Times, there was a posting that Texas wants to cut out Medicaid.  The Guest speakers were two women from Mamas of Color Rising who I absolutely fell in love with and what they are working so hard to accomplish (be sure and check out their website!) and inspired by their passion.
